R U READY TO DOWN SOME SMACK??? vol. 18

Matt and Adam take the brand extension very seriously. They each only identify with one brand and actively follow it. Matt bleeds Raw red and Adam has Smackdown blue coursing through his veins. Being soldiers in the ongoing war for brand supremacy has charged both of them up enough to provide handy recaps of the previous week's show. That way, no new viewers will feel lost. Thus, every Monday and Friday, we here at LOL, Wresslin' will offer you a refresher. Hey, it's the least we can do.

My oh my, did that Royal Rumble shake up the Smackdown foundation! As reported here last week, we have our third champion in three months, as Edge won back the WWE title against Jeff Hardy! He didn't do it alone though, as Jeff's own brother, Matt, turned on him! Booo! Booo! Heel!! We demand an explanation!

Black suit? Dark! So dark!

Not good enough! What's that? Tired of covering for your screw up brother? Makes sense. Hmmm, that was a rational explanation. Still, we used to love you Matt, and you ruined all of Jeff's hard work! Boo!

In happier news, MVP is on a bit of a winning streak! Two! Two matches in a row! He kicked Chavo "I'm totally not a jobber" Guerrero in the face and picked up the 1-2-3!

Also, Umaga returned from his 6 month web design course (making this beauty) to shove his ass in the face of some dude named Wang.

Not gay! So not gay!

Anyway, on a non-boring note, we have one more PPV before Wrestlemania! It's called No Way Out, which means there's going to be a special match. An elimination chamber! This is a six man match in a demonic cage like structure with weapons. For all involved there is literally NO WAY OUT, lolz. Still, there's only one way to make this match, and that's with qualifying matches! First up, Big Show vs Smackdown's own Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Festus!

Not enough black

Second, we have the phenom, former champion, legend, and future hall of famer, The Undertaker, vs former ECW champion Mark Henry.

So much black...

And finally, a triple threatening match, The Great Khali vs the undefeated Vladimir Kozlov vs The King of Kings, Triple H!

I make that face when the Great Khali crushes my head too

HHH surprisingly was able to work around these two lummoxes rather well. And by that I mean he let them beat the crap out of each other. That's why he's called the cerebral assassin!

Still, guess who won?
